John Cumming BA(Hons) MBA FCIPD MARH

Member of the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths

John Cumming I am a Registered Homeopath and have been practicing in Battersea for over twelve years - from which I get a great deal of personal satisfaction meeting and treating a wide range of people.

I ‘discovered’ homeopathy while recovering from the first of two operations for carpel tunnel syndrome (a painful condition which affects the tendons of both hands). I was reading Medicine and the New Man by the great modern Greek homeopath, George Vithoulkas. Taking his advice, I treated the after effects of the second operation with Arnica and was impressed that the healing process took less than half the time of that following the first operation. A documentary about a homeopathic country vet clinched it. His record of success with farm animals, none of whom could have understood the meaning of placebo, was remarkable. I had to know more.

I trained at the London College of Classical Homeopathy and the Purton House School in Buckinghamshire. I am a graduate of the School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies (Dynamis), and as a Member of the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths I am bound by its comprehensive Code of Ethics and Practice and carry a professional indemnity insurance of £2.5m.

I hold a Masters Degree from the prestigious Cass Business School in the City of London and am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I have had a long career in management covering personnel management, management education and as the Chief Executive of a large housing trust.

Homeopathy is changing and developing all the time and the group of Homeopaths to which I belong, the Chiron Group, provides an effective way of ensuring that we all keep up to date.

In addition to everything I have learned in my professional life as a ‘people person’, homeopathy has taught me how very individual each person is. It follows that it is important to treat the very individual needs of each person - individually.
